This is home to the Land Of Fire. It has a relatively temperate climate with generally sunny conditions. Its leader is the Hokage.

| Kirigakure-Village Hidden in the Mist (1 sub-board)
Located in the Land of Water, its leader is the Mizukage. Its ninja are water based jutsu.

| Otogakure-Village Hidden in the Sound (5 sub-boards)
The Hidden Sound Village is located in the Sound Country, ruled and created by Orochimaru.

| Iwagakure-Village Hidden in the Rocks
Its leader is the the Tsuchikage. Little is known about it, but it stands to reason that its ninja specialize in earth-based jutsu. In the past, the village was at war with the Kohana.

| Amegakure-Village Hidden in the Rain
Little is known beyond that. In a flashback, it was shown to be filled with a great number of small buildings in a heavily wooded area, suggesting that it might perhaps be located in a rainforest.

Little is known about the Hidden Grass Village. It is probably very rich with flora.

| Takigakure-Hidden Waterfall Village (3 sub-boards)
Obviously, the landmark of the area is its waterfall, which is rather large by modern standards. Not much is known about this land.

| Kumogakure-Village Hidden in the Clouds
The first databook describes it as a peninsula divided by a vast mountain range, with numerous rivers running from it out to sea. Hot springs are also prevalent within the country.

| Sunagakure-Village Hidden in the Wind
The Village Hidden in the Wind is a large, dry, and desolate country whose cities are typically found near water sources. While much of the country is inhospitable, the population is large and prosperous due to its frequent trading with the Land of Fire. While not seen as often as the Land of Fire. Its hidden village is Sunagakure, Village Hidden in the Sand.
